Pastor’s Corner

For over 40 years, James W. Cox, Jr.’s goal has been to transform lives to impact society. His vision and message is relevant to change society and committed to uplifting others who are down and out.

As a preacher of the Gospel, he has pastored from one end of Texas to the other. He has been given the gift of growing churches like the Apostle Paul. Pastor Cox has left mighty monuments to the cause of God in such areas as Texarkana, Amarillo, Lubbock, Houston, Fort Worth and pending development in Cedar Hill. For over 18 years, Pastor Cox developed the community wide preach-out bridging all religious faiths.

Pastor Cox is currently the Senior Pastor of Faith Temple SDA Church in Dallas, Texas. He continues to impact the community with revivals such as Deception, Scandal, and Hidden Prophecies in the Sanctuary, through multimedia. He is also one of the founders of Breaking Chains Ministries, where the mission is to free the hopeless and rescue the perishing.

Pastor Cox is married to Adela Jeffers Cox, retired Dallas Independent School District School Administrator. They are the proud parents of three awesome children, Karin Cox Lindsey (Kelvin), Krystal Cox Bankhead (Damon), and James W. Cox, III, as well as grandparents to two wonderful, but busy grandsons: Khash and Khace Lindsey. One of his favorite text is: I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and His seed is blessed. Psalm 37:25 & 26 KJV
