Mens Day of Prayer

Please note, on Labor Day Weekend, September 2, 2017, The Men’s Day of Prayer is taking place. This is a reminder and also a request; plan to take advantage of this North American Division Men’s Day of Prayer to include the men of your church and community in a special time of coming together as men of God.

Message from the Pastor

The war begins begins in the soul but quickly moves to the mind. What does this mean?It means intentional effort to know truth and dispel lies.It means uprooting the seeds of sinful thinking before they bear fruit. It means that even if they’ve taken root, you can demolish them before they take over.

James W. Cox Sr. pastor

Scripture of the Day

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 1:10 NKJV

About our Church

At Faith Temple we keep it simple. We believe the bible. We believe in the undeniable, unfailing, unbreakable, unshakable love of Jesus Christ! The bible teaches that before the world was even created, Jesus had a plan to save us. He willingly came down to die for our sins and gave us the gift of salvation! (something we don’t deserve).

While that fact intimidates many, it’s the very reason having Jesus in your life is so exciting! Because this gift mean it’s not about us. It’s not about how good we are. It’s not about how hard we try to work for it. It’s not even about us being perfect.

“You don’t come to Jesus once you’re perfect. You come to Jesus as you are; then he’ll make you perfect.”

God loves us so much that he gave us his son. Jesus loved us so much that he gave us his life. At faith, we love god so much that we give him our hearts.

Help your Neighbor

It is important to give to those who are in need.

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Luke 6:38
